Right now is the calm before the storm. I am actually just about totally packed, so the hour before we leave shouldn't be too bad, but we have this dance every time we go somewhere. Bob is on the computer while I am finalizing packing. I always have to tell him to get ready -- he NEVER does it on his own. I call his name; he replies, "What?" Um, we've done this many, many times, and he still doesn't realize that when I call his name, it's for a reason?
I read what I just wrote to Bob, and this was his response.
We made it to the airport even with loads of traffic on 476 -- now chilling in a wine bar while waiting for our flight.
I realized that our hotel at Heathrow is actually NOT in a terminal -- we'll have to get a taxi or Uber to get there, and I repeatedly asked the Travelocity support person whether the hotel was the one we'd stayed at before, which WAS in a terminal. Oh, well, it's only money....
